Jonathan Haley has come out of seclusion in South Africa to answer a call to the ministry. He will be the new assistant pastor of Cliffside Chapel, in Canada.  Cliffside is a community divided. Jon will also be the new music director---a job previously filled by a young widow, Susan Rennie.

When Susan finds herself thrown repeatedly into the company of this usurper, she has difficulty resisting his winning smile and quirky sense of humour.  But Sue has pledged to remain faithful  to the memory of her husband.

 Jonathan Haley is walking into more than he bargained for as he dons his robes for service in Cliffside.
